Reading...

Oh my gosh... I forgot what it was like to read!! It has been so long since I have actually sat down and enjoyed a book!! I picked up a new series and at first glance, didn't quite know what I would think about it. I thought it would be a little like the Twillight series (which I have yet been able to read, the movies are enjoyable though). This series is also about vampires, and a little "darker" then I thought it would be, but still very enjoyable. It has the perfect mix of everything. It shows a lot about what the world is like, and has a lot of cloaked meaning behind it. About society, racism, government, predjudice, love, good vs evil, etc, etc. I read 2 books of the series in less about a day and a half! Truly enjoyable and so relaxing. I cant wait to get the rest of the books from this series. Next mission will be the Twillight books, and I hope to find more after that... one of my new years resolutions started, and feeling great! Check!

Star Trek...

Ok... first off... what the heck? lol... there are wayyy to many people casted in that show, and the names are soooo absurd! We went to a friends house tonight, and they were playing Star Trek Scene It... it was the hardest game I have ever tried to participate in. lol... It made it even harder because I can say that I dont think I have EVER seen a single episode. lol.. Dave did fairly well with it. I wonder if they make a Charmed Scene It?? I would totally rock at that. Its amazing that people are able to come up with such off the wall shows. There had to have been a TON of time and effort into making that show... it was just wayyy to complicated. But anyways... just thought I would say just how ridiculously bad I was at that game... but plus side, the team I was on won... so WHOO HOOO.... go us!! lol

Here We Go!! Start Of The New Year!

So this is a new chapter in our life and we are now hoping for a much better year then the last one was. We have sat down, and set aside our goals and aspirations for the next year, in hopes of accomplishing them. We strive this year to become more finacially stable, so far we have made steps towards achieving this. Also decided for this year is a family vacation, and although we wanted it to be this month, it looks as though it will have to wait. Aubree made a goal for this year as well, and hers is to start school, just like her mommy. We are hoping to be able to let her attend this academy that we have looked into, and are very impressed with them. I myself and hoping to be starting school in February of this year. Dave would like to be able to move up enough in work, that he will be able to spend more time at home, and not so much at work. While striving to make all this work in our favor, we are putting our trust in the Lord, knowing that he will help us make it through, and that it will be in his time, and not ours, and that He knows what is in store for us.

There is one more thing that we are so excited for, and that is to extend our family. We dont mean another dog :) . We are hoping that we will be able to add another baby to the mix... Aubree and I both want it to be a girl... we would totally love that, and of course, as you can guess, Dave would like a boy. lol... I would like either one, and be so happy just to have another one to love.

So now I need to finish this, and find out how to add other things to this site, and get it moving.

HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL!!
